Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best recognized for her strong but vulnerable character. Linney is a member of a theatre family her father was the playwright Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) at New York City in 1990. She started performing immediately in the city on Broadway receiving awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
